The goals of the Worldwide Web Specialty
Group are:

to promote the use of the Worldwide Web and E-mail
as tools for communication, debate, and collaboration in the discipline
of geography for education, research, and public service;

to critically engage the implications of geographic
pedagogy and scholarship on the web.
