Tavi - this beautiful pointer needs a lot of love and encouragement.

Luna and Crissy - Luna is amazingly similar in appearance to the dog in the painting. These two are very young - active and happy.

Please visit my petfinder listings to see dogs currently available at Dogs Hope (south central North Carolina)
Right now, May 10, 2004, I have 1 beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer & 7 beautiful English Pointers including the three girls shown above - plus one mixed breed and one labarador female for adoption.

For more pointers: try a Petfinder site search for your zipcode and pointer - there are quite a few beautiful purebred English Pointers available in North and South Carolina at animal shelters and in rescue/foster care.

In the Charlotte area: Folks, I frequently go to the Charlotte/Mecklenburg Animal Shelter to pick up dogs. The dogs in my rescue usually come from this and other area shelters.

If you are thinking of adding a dog to your family, please consider a shelter animal. There are thousands of lovely animals at shelters all over the United States and no doubt everywhere else in the world. . These animals are very much as good as any other dogs. Puppies are cute (and yes, the shelter had quite a few puppies), but they only stay puppies for a little while. Older dogs are easier to live with, usually house broken, easy to train. Please consider a shelter dog for your next companion.
